I like the strawberry coulee, but I add a splash of Grand Marnier. The strawberry/orange is a classic flavour pairing.

Perfect recepie for beginners. I made it last New Years (with my horrible stove and zero experience), and it turned out great! And I have 'practiced' it a few times since, so I am a lot faster now. 😋

I prefer to use the real vanilla bean pods instead of extract, and I use 250 ml for 4 people (I just scale the other ingredients so they are the same ratio), and top off with fresh berries, depending on what is available. Bonus tip: if you have to serve it for others, make a tiny serving in a shot glass, and taste ahead. So you know it tastes as it should. 😁

I tried one with a southeast Asian twist: coconut milk mixed with some cream infused with Pandan, palm sugar as the liquid topping, and toasted coconut for a crunchy topping. Absolutely heavenly 😂
