My wife has a great skill at changing the subject when I talk about my problems or concerns. She is a covert narc, no empathy everything is about her plans, feelings, guilting me, her victimized ego, how I can be the pawn and not get a no answer from me. It’s mental control elegantly refined and tailored fit. I’m just a robot with no feelings, interest or personality. Needless to say we climbed on the fence of divorce, weekly counseling meetings and of course I was sent to personal therapy because I’m the problem. lol

Some comments they make, they know will irk you, even if you don't respond. If at all possible, don't even give them an opportunity to irk you. If you can, avoid even reading their communications. The latest irk I received was the lawyer in cahoots with the narc's estate embezzlements writing that my mom would be proud of how that creep handled her estate. Something he can never take from me: Mom's very last words to me: "We've gotta get that bumb!"
