Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoYo, and published by miHoYo in mainland China and by HoYoverse worldwide. It was released for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and Windows in 2020, on PlayStation 5 in 2021, and is set for release on Nintendo Switch. The game features an anime-style open-world environment and an action-based battle system using elemental magic and character-switching. A free-to-play game monetized through gacha game mechanics, Genshin Impact is expanded regularly through patches using the games as a service model.

Genshin Impact takes place in the fantasy world of Teyvat, home to seven nations, each of which is tied to a different element and ruled by a different god. The story follows the Traveler, an inter-dimensional adventurer who, at the start of the game, is separated from their twin sibling after the two land in Teyvat. Thereafter, the Traveler journeys across the nations of Tevyat in search of the lost sibling, accompanied by their guide, Paimon. Along the way, the two befriend myriad individuals and begin to unravel the mysteries of the land.

One old man NPC in port Ormos tell us that Natlan is a contradictory nation and a colorfull and intriging one, he also tell us that their people like to use ornaments and colorfull accessories and that they also like to be in fashion so I gess that explain why the Archon looks like even if the rest look more wild like.

I mean the drill girl is wearing sneakers shoes, so im guessing this nation is going to be more modern looking than Fontaine which is very Victorian-esque. I think Genshin has had a trend of getting nations to be increasingly more and more modern by each release, and if thats true than Natlan will be something more up to date style-wise. Making Snezhnaya a bit more futuristic in Genshin terms. Or maybe im reading too much into all this, idk lol

I would check if the art is a official concept art (leaked or not) or if it fanart. If we talk about disappointment i would say the skin color are much more of an issue.

People stereotyping the hell out of Natlan, not every character has to have the same attire. Other people are in tribes, she's basically the president. Like saying the president should wear a hoodie and sweatpants to represent their people.
