I genuinely think Thomas, as wel as thomas' character in general, would never have been the same if it weren't for Edward helping him. It's even obvious in "The Adventure Begins" that Edward was the only one to actually care for him at first. Sure, the bigger engines cared for him later, but at first they didn't. Edward will always have a soft spot in my heart as one of my favorites of the show.

Honestly what I love about this model of Edward is that you managed to capture the kind hearted soul of his character, I don’t know if it’s the blue or the face but it’s got that special touch. I agree too, Bachmann got it right with this one, my only drawback would be the proportions of the buffer beam on theirs, just doesn’t seem right to me. Can’t wait for the next showcase man!

Perfect, absolutely perfect! What's also a coincidence is that the train modeler use the bachmann duck. So you should be very lucky enough that your Edward will be “one tough cookie”.

Absolutely excellent model of Edward. I was impressed by how you used the Bachmann model to modify it like the TVS model w/ some creative liberties like the added stripe near the smokebox.
