I love that fact that this just barely scratches the surface of the tragedy of Sirius. Sirius had been wrongfully convicted of a crime that one of his best friends pinned on him, and then left to rot in a max security prison for 11 years. He then gets out, tries to find the real convict to clear his name, actually finds him, but is then apprehended by the Dementors, jailers of the max security prison (and literal impersonations of dread) whom try to eat his soul. He then goes on the run for the next 2 years, trying, but failing, to clear his name. During the end of Harry’s fifth school year, Harry has a prophetic dream about Sirius being tortured. These dreams have been proven to be real before, so Harry takes a strike team of fifteen-year-olds to go and help him save Sirius. Turns out it was a trap that was made to lure Harry out of the safety of Hogwarts. Ironically, this meant Sirius had to come and save him from Voldemort’s Death Eaters, but died in the process, making it seem like Harry’s fault to Harry, since he walked into the trap.
To really pour salt into the wounds, Voldemort is confirmed to be back, and Sirius is declared innocent Post Mortem. So, had Harry just waited like 5 more months, Voldemort, and by extension Peter Petigrew, would have shown themselves to the public, proving Sirius innocent.

My favourite part of this is that the timeline is weird, Harry doesn’t live with his Aunt and Uncle after Hedwig got murdered

With all that trauma Harry went through, it's a miracle that he hasn't gone insane by the end of the series. You'd think he was cursed what with everyone in his family getting killed in front of him.

If he did go insane, he would be so much so that even the _Joker_ would be horrified.
