Enrico Caruso, His Words, His Music. A recital of songs written by and for Caruso

This was recorded on the 25th July 2021 in Enrico Caruso's home in Lastra a Signa, near Florence, Italy. Caruso bought the property in 1904 and lived there during his summer breaks. His younger son, Enrico Jr, was born there.
The programme is made up of songs that Caruso himself composed (or wrote the words for) and a selection of the songs written especially for him by other contemporary composers.

I have been one of many graced to see Mr. Milhofer in various Opras and Recitals. On stages and in Churches. In fabulous costumes or as the Gentleman that he is.
If you know how wonderfull he is as a performer. You should know that he is even more wonderfull as a person with such warmth and consideration. Who, I am convinced sings with his heart for those who listen to his seemingly effortless interpertation in various languages.
We need performeres of such to sweeten our lives with music.
