Like many, I was a wargamer before a role- player. I still enjoy both aspects of gaming. More wargame content would be great!

Well this is a rare treat! Didn't know you were a hex and counter wargamer! I was down at a wargaming flea market this past weekend and bought Brazen Chariots: Battles for Tobruk from MMP for half price new in the box. I pounced on that deal real fast. Just finished clipping the counters and now I can set in to read the rules and start playing. Brazen Chariots has three 22 x 36 inch maps and over 1, 100 counters lol. Huge game.

Yup, more wargaming-grognard content would be great. (I originally found your channel via Ardwulf's Lair.)

I just got my copy of this game. I recommend all of the various "1940-something" games by Mark Simonitch from GMT...not overly complex, but tightly-designed WW2 operational scale goodness.

I presume the trend for wargames is paper maps to keep costs down, but I'd be a bit concerned about long term durability, compared to the chunkier boards of older wargames.
That said, the scenario looks intriguing.

Ya remember Atomic Games Close Combat computer games from the 90's? Much Like Squad Leader of the 70's/80s. You could play another person at a different computer anywhere in the world. This company would do well to pursue the same avenue. They would sell many more games that way as local people to play with can be non-existent.
