that is true, they do think that's how it is. but i don't know why they care. like, i had something with an intersex person and she told me years later.
did i have fun? hell yeah. so why should i care? she made me feel like the queen that i am and i hope i was able to return the favor. that is literally the only thing that matters.

look i'm all for everyone celebrating individuality and being happy in whatever they choose in life. but this is something you should disclose with a casual or romantic partner. it's just common courtesy. no you don't have to make a big deal out of it and if it's something they don't agree with good for you for not having them in your life. stick with the people who support you, those who don't support your decisions and lifestyle will leave eventually so you might as well tell them when you can. this is in no way a hostile take but i do think we need to be more aware of other people who are going to be involved in our situation. i hope whoever reads this has a wonderful day :)
