Plot twist: The person asking you is introverted and responds with: "Oh that's cool.."

The other essential skill is to LISTEN. I mean really listen to the other person. People love to be listened to because it happens so rarely. If you do both these things well, you will connect with people you never imagined possible.

This. I think it was easier to go with the flow like this when your younger and maybe more relaxed but as Ive gotten older Ive racked my brain unnecessairly trying to think of the "right" thing to say.

This is a good way to end a conversation really quickly… conversations should flow, it’s not going to be able to create its own when you’re not going at the pace of questions being asked and when you’re giving too many things to play off.

Listen, slow down, be present, and give bite sized pieces… then add on little by little. whatever you do, take his advice with a grain of salt 😅

As someone with ADHD, I tend to go on tangents sometimes, so long answers with multiple parts comes naturally to me lol

I also do this naturally and sometimes (depending on who it is) I see people switch off. These are the ones just asking questions for small talk or shallow obligation. So I now try and gauge their intentions before I bother with all of that!

If I did that I’d be lying since I’m a night shift factory worker in the Midwest.

good tip, basically this makes the conversation flow easier. ask open ended questions, or if you're the one answering, answer open ended

It reminds me of my conversations with everyone I met at university. Where are you from? What are you reading? What A-levels did you do? That was about it really.

This is gold! Thank you. I found this while looking for videos on how to correct/teach with charisma. I'm teaching dance and it's very hard for people to be called out in class with corrections and I also notice no one wants to speak up and ask if we can repeat something. How do I teach and correct students the charismatic way? How do I create an environment these people feel comfortable to speak up because it won't be a "shameful" experience? Would love to see a video on this topic. Thank you either way, this channel is so helpful!

I do this oftentimes and mostly people find me annoying 'coz I talked a lot.
They always told me I should be more direct.

It’s like your IQ. Having the ability to recall several actions before you start to forget.

Charisma is giving people the largest selection of choice within dialect.

That’s also why speaking a different language or being bilingual is so attracting.
