How to Paint Motorcycle Fairings pt.1 | Cleaning the Surface | Ride Rehab ep. 14

Let's get those fairings ready for paint! The most important part of painting plastic, is starting with a perfectly clean surface! Today we go over what is needed to properly clean all of the road grime and dirt from our fairing trim pieces, to begin the process of sanding and prepping for our base coat. Love the logical approach to cleaning, reminds me of the order my parents used to teach me for washing dishes - glass, cutlery, China, pots. Same reason, least dirty to most.

Just found this as my K7 gsxr 1000 copper has faded from the sun. I had a Triumph Sprint RS 955i and the fairings were over 1k a piece and there was like 14 pieces. Needles to say it became a full street fighter lol.
