San Diego flood victims begin recovery efforts after 'unprecedented' storm

Many people took the day off work to shovel mud and clean up. Some residents unleashed anger at the City of San Diego for the damage.

Thank you all for your well wishes. This is my dad in the news piece, Harrold Roberts. Our house is on Beta Street, one of the hardest hit streets by the flood. He is a senior citizen and we are doing our best given the circumstances. Please have positive thoughts and prayers for us as we attempt to put back together the pieces of our lives. From someone who knows what this is like in Florida I pray for all affected. We see hurricane after hurricane and the destruction is always worse than the one prior. Not looking forward to June 1st. Prayers 🙏

Here we are in Texas with our lake levels at record lows. I have never seen our lakes this low and I have lived here since 1982

Look at Google Earth just north of that location The channel on the north side of the park is full of trees and growth, also, the park sits higher than the neighborhood.

Without home owners flood insurance You're insurance company won't pay a dime for anything. The insurance company doesn't care if a dam breaks Or if your rained on, , , , flood insurance is flood insurance. The city is not gonna take fault for anything just watch.

PRESIDENT BIDEN NEEDS TO FLY OVER TO SEE HOW SAN DIEGO NEEDS HELP. AND THE PRESIDENT OF MEXICO NEEDS TO GO VIEW ON HIS SIDE OF HIS COUNTRY THAT TIJUANA IS ALSO IN FLOOD. BOTH PRESIDENTS NEED TO ATTEND AND SEE FOR THEIR OWN EYES WHAT IS HAPPENING ON EACH OWN COUNTRY

I have to say. For "America's Finest City" it's pretty fucked up how the city is declining to help these people because they need FEMA money, but at the same time they quickly stepped in to clean the flood at the Farmers Golf Tournament.
