Pete Frogs is a French bassist and game composer. Following the release of his sensational SEGA Genesis-style covers of Justin Bieber’s “Stay” and a-ha’s “Take On Me”, Pete drops a full album of feel-good bops with Genesis Jams. The loaded tracklist includes 1980s favorites including “What Is Love” by Haddaway and Rick Astley's notoriously viral “Never Gonna Give You Up”, as well as modern earworms such as “24k Magic” and “Call Me Maybe”. No matter the era, Pete packs the momentum and excitement of the Genesis' beloved titles into covers of the world's most popular music.

Hey y'all!! First I wanna say, sorry (not sorry) for rickrolling you... The Sega Genesis was the first console I ever played and I've always thought that it had some of the most amazing game soundtracks, later on it became obvious that playing these games back when i was a kid definitely shaped me as a musician. Making this album was incredibly fun but also really nostalgic in a good way, so i hope it can also take you back to that time when you had fun playing the Genesis (or Mega Drive for my fellow Europeans)! I'd enjoy hearing more like this. I feel like the older beats were a better fit though. Oddly enough, I enjoyed the Rick roll, Take on Me, and Super Freak the most. They just had such a bouncy and lively feel to them
