Elderly couple scammed from their home by grandson

This story is truly heartbreaking, an elderly couple is being scammed out of their Thousand Oaks home after living there for 50 years. So who did this to them you ask?? That's the troubling part.

I sure hope that the grandson is brought to justice for what he did to his grandparents. My Grandma will be 70 next year and it breaks my heart that she is still paying a mortgage. If I had the money I'd pay it off for her. I hope that this couple gets their house back.

How can this not be fraud. Signing over ownership under a false pretense is still fraud. And based on the amount, it is a felony. Are there not laws that protect the elderly from being preyed upon by such vermin? I happen to agree with others in this group when they state that this person's information needs to be made public. I would have no sympathy if this person was found dead in a ditch. You don't do that to people. It lacks any sense of honor, morals or decency.

Hank passed in late 2018 and Helen now lives In a trailer and uses a walker at 92 years old.

Grandparents are a blessing. I would kill for a chance to see mine again. How can someone do this to their own grandparents. Karma will take care of the evil who was once their grandson.

I have a feeling the young man who did this will arrive at some very harsh conclusions in 10-15 years time. I guarantee his whole family disowned him for that. That behavior is just inexcusable. Shame, shame, shame. So few people ever live to know their grandparents in any detail. No one deserves to have their heart broken like that; especially having lived as long as they did.
