How do I get a brush to scatter in all different orientations to get that neat border effect?

THANKS! I use the SAME method too!! :) XD I don't know why but I always overdo the brushes one... (The creative brushes go more far than I expect) :P

When I first did this, it worked. But now, it will not show anything. I am following the steps but do not see any markings from my brushes. I'm sure there's a setting that is off somewhere but I don't know where or what. I can't to anything.

Ok, I just wanted a plain page color to start with...BEFORE adding any photos to it...says I just have a fill colour and can't do a thing to it...even when clicking to make a new layer...any tips please...photoshop cc. 2017.

how do i scale a picture size to credit card so it prints full size and does not under print the border

I am definitely doing something wrong. I think it has to do with the way I am opening my projects. None of these tools for texturing or brushing my edges work on a bunch of my images that I created. Maybe because they aren't photos. They are images I created with Photoshop. So frustrated!!!

mine wont work i'm using cs6 on a mac and i do eveything he says but it wont paint a border

It never fails, i watch video after video of these tutorials and in each video the PS CS5 and 6 seem to be able to do something that mine won't do. I do NOT get a "Properties" box that opens up when I double click the mask image. I get a little box that calls itself "Layer Mask Options" and the only thing I can do is change the OPACITY percentage then click either OK or CANCEL. UUugggghhhh!!
