The "mad" smile at the beginning made me smile for some reason

Like the first opening I really feel like the song is supposed to be Soul singing, most likely to/about Maka. When this song was the opening in the anime it was when Soul was really starting to go deeper and deeper into his madness, to the point where Maka was the only thing that could pull him out. The creepier parts are Soul's madness taking over (i.e "in your nightmares to, thats where I'll find you")

I love this. I love this for multiple reasons. But the reason I am going to share is because it reminded me that, when you get right down to it, the intro scene is a redo of a tiny red demon is a suit yelling at an albino kid to play the piano.

This song represents Soul slipping into Madness, not only that but he appears to sing to or for the little red devil guy, this song is showing some of the creepier and more morbid side of his personality.

The only tragedy here is that this is but half of the masterpiece. It would have been nice to have had the entire song, especially since it's done quite well.
