Why not find for the thevenin's voltage and the equivalent resistance, after that, divide V/I

Outside AAS & EE school courses (The profs try really hard to covince you're Stupid) never had a professional or private Work perience Need for this in over 50 yrs exotic Specialty job might possibly need it....Why needlessly Over-Load aspiring Students with this ??
