It's been four years since Animal Crossing New Horizons released. This game means a lot to many of us, especially during 2020. Let's check in on my Animal Crossing island

I can't understate just how much Animal Crossing New Horizons means to me. This was the game that got me through the first Covid Lockdown, and it's one of my favourite games I've played. I've over 600 hours spent on my island at this point, and many important memories with this game. I'm really thankful to have it in my life.

Suffice it to say, that Dan has made a very wholesome impression when it comes to associating this game with him

The Ikea island makes me think of my first and only experience with the dream feature, I just had it choose a random island and it sent me to "DIGIMON".
EVERY SQUARE INCH of the island was covered in random furniture and the lag was unlike anything I have ever seen in Animal Crossing, especially since my game crashed after looking around in pure confusion.
This island has and will occupy some part of my brain for a long time.

I’m genuinely convinced that the IKEA island is an abandoned item trading market island from back in the game’s prime.
If it is then it’s a fascinating look into how those places ended up after most part stopped playing the game.

i got this game just as lockdown hit (like most people) and my mum got it as well. i couldnt see her in person for months but this game kept us both sane. we would visit each others islands, go round the museum, and of course hit each other with nets... it sounds silly now but i really dont think i would have made it through without this game!
so nice to see everyone else that has great memories as well :)
