Appreciate this! Getting into the hobby and I didn't realize the price difference between SCG and TCG. I will definitely be switching over. I just did a run on my "wishlist" in SCG and on TCG it costs $15 less!

I discovered TCGplayer by accident. I was working a lot and had no time to go to my usual LGS, and they were the first site to come up when I wanted to make an artifact deck for FNM. Good to know I didn't make a mistake by sticking with them

I like how you said to buy/sell from a lgs if you can. I know most lgs' buy/sell based off tcg mid but it's totally worth supporting them.

Absolutely agree. TCGPlayer is a market, not an individual seller. Competition for sales means better prices for the consumer. I only buy my cards from tcg sellers and my LGS, who uses tcg as their price reference.

my area has 4 card shops (for a roughly 80k population) 2 use scg prices, 1 is essentially a hobby shop that sells for players for credit, and then there's one that uses TCG.

Love this more finance video would like to see more like this. Also I have a question what if you are buying lots of cards at once say putting a deck together from scratch not just buying one or two cards is tcg still the best or are other sites better?

TCGPlayer is pretty awesome.  I love the way you can filter your searches.  I like MTGgoldfish for a quick look but when I want to get into the details I use TCG.

MTG card market EU is so good i used to have a sideline where i would buy from there and sometimes more than double my money on Ebay.

My local is scg when selling cards between me and out friends we go between their buylist and what they sell it for for trade we use what they sell it for
