Forgetting everything from the playboy period is literally a trauma response.

Clearly she’s in that phase of forgetting the abuse to get by. This whole interview struck a nerve. And you can tell she is not well

Clearly, she was abused, she feels ashamed of that past. It doesn't take a psychologist to realize that she sends many signals of shame, regret, abuse, and sadness in Playboy. I hope she's okay, she's a good person.

I simply don’t think Kendra has a strong enough foundation to fully accept and tackle that part of her life. It’s easier to mask her true emotions and attack or shade the other girls.

Wow this is so uncomfortable, she does not hide her true feelings well. Self soothing behaviors all over.

The fact she “doesn’t remember” 5 pivotal years of her life, doesn’t sound any alarms to anyone? She is subconsciously blocking out the trauma and that time in her life. If she said she didn’t remember those trips and events she attended, okay, sure. But you don’t remember 5 years of your life living in the most unconventional relationship ever? Don’t believe it. Does she remember her marriage to Hank, or only up until he was caught with a transgender model? Serious questions. The nervous shifting in the seat, playing with the hair, can’t form an eloquent sentence: dead give away. Girl, just own it. And then you can move on for good and help your own daughter in the process!

Whoa. This was not a normal exchange… hope she’s okay 😬

I see deep denial here... her fidgeting and nervous laughing shows she's uncomfortable with looking back- and deeper- into how toxic it really was. Years ago she sung his praises and put down the experiences of the other girls. She said how they were the greatest years of her life but now she forgets??
Using the "I'm a mom" "I'm a mom" "I'm all about my kids now" "I'm a mom" cop out. I can understand that she's moved on from that chapter, but you don't "forget" traumas. Even if your memories are foggy your body remembers.

She's really downplaying how badly she was gas-lighted and manipulated in the past. She was only 18 years old and thrown into a situation of control she didn't have the emotional tools to understand or navigate. Not to mention her mom was so happy to pimp her out for her own perks and benefits. And she's so desperate to escape the reality of it she compares it to having a crush in middle school? Someday it's gonna hit her pretty damn hard just how badly she was exploited.

I really thought I’d think more negative about her after watching this, but truly I feel sorry for her. Between her immaturity, her upbringing, and the toxic and abusive environment that was the Playboy mansion, I feel sorry for her more than anything.

You can tell she’s ashamed and doesn’t want to talk about her past. She keeps diverting each question into who she is now. Like I’m a mother, I’d rather go to the grocery store, and i have better things to do. Someone who has actually excepted there past would have more thoughtful answers and not tear other women down for speaking about there past of playboy. In the last section she’s glancing at people off screen and at the camera very uncomfortably. If someone has dealt with that part of themselves there is no need for anxious and nervous glances around the room. If you’ve watched an interview with Holly or Bridgette there answers are eloquent and put together.

Wow! Pretty transparent. What she doesn't say speaks volumes. This interview confirms Holly's statements.

Not sure why she would even do this interview. She’s obviously embarrassed about her past, why even allow anyone to drudge it up?

I think its natural for Holly and Kendra to process their time at the mansion in a different way. If Kendra prefers to put it totally behind her that’s her choice. If Holly chooses to use it as a starting point for discussion that can help other women avoid toxic relationships that is her choice.

What’s not OK is judging another woman for her choices which seems to be what is happening here.

Between her mom, Hef and Hank; I completely understand why she wants to forget. But I hope she's spoken to a professional about ALL HER TRAUMA. This was hard to watch 💔

What’s all that fidgeting about? It’s clearly triggering for her, easier for her to say she “forgot” than talk about it.

She is obviously embarrassed by the whole playboy /Hefner thing and wishes everyone would just forget about it.

She's clearly lying. You can tell by how nervous she acts and doesn't look into the eyes of the interviewer while she's discussing the whole story of him just inviting her to move in after seeing a picture.

Poor Kendra. I don’t think she’s ever sat and taken a good hard look at her life. It’s riddled with failed relationships, neglectful parents and lots of deflecting/trying to rewrite history. No one’s life is perfect, and it’s understandable to maybe be embarrassed of past choices, but I don’t think she has the tools or right mindset to acknowledge let alone accept the things she’s gone through in her life and see them for what they were and how they affected her.

She was still so young when she first moved into the mansion, and I imagine all of that glitz and glam helped her escape from her childhood issues only to get traumatised as an adult at the mansion only to get traumatised again after she left the mansion and started her own marriage which ended horribly. I can see why she has such a negative reaction to Holly, because then she’d have to admit that it wasn’t a healthy environment to live in and it would shatter the lies she tells herself.

Kendra really needs to stop shaming Holly and Bridget.. they are such amazing women. Kendra needs to start lifting up other women instead of trying to shame and hurt them
