FYI an abusive relationship often doesn't involve being abused 24/7. They have to "treat you right" up to a point or no sane person would stay. They find the exact amount of BS you can take and plant their flag right at that threshold. And younger people tend to be the most financially/emotionally vulnerable group by default.

“if it was so bad they could’ve just left” and they literally all did once they could afford to…

Holly has said many stayed bc it was an easy way to save money as a young person but many of the girls that did leave fell on hard times and got into drugs/escorting, so she was afraid she’d end up the same until the Girl’s Next Door happened. It‘s not always so easy to leave a toxic situation and many didn’t realize how bad it was until after they got back to living normal lives.

I always believed Holly. She so beautiful it’s so easy to get caught up in a lifestyle like that especially when your young. This docuseries is definitely going to reveal some dark disturbing secrets. Holly’s book was just the tip of the iceberg.

I find it kind of surprising that in the secrets of playboy special, or in any of this discussion about the magazines controversies, that nobody has mentioned Brooke Shields was featured nude in playboy when she was only ten years old.

Shannon sister’s story was incredibly heartbreaking. Thank you for sharing this series. I wish the environment was different and that he could have been held accountable during his lifetime.

None of those girls would be there or be with him if he wasn't rich...let that sink in.

I remember seeing 'playboy mansion' in the movies in the 80s, always thought it was creepy, yet it was so glorified. Couldn't understand how so many beautiful women wanted to stay with some old dude under one roof. And to think, to be on PB's cover was an achievement 🤮🤮🤮

The part that got me the most was when she claimed she had Stockholm syndrome and that's the reason she said she wanted to marry him and have his

It's amazing how people want to complain now after Mr. Hefner has passed but when he was alive, they accepted and took advantage of what was offered. "No one was a slave." You had the choice to choose and at that time you chose the life of the Playboy Mansion. "So, I believe individuals should take responsibility for their actions and look in the mirror instead of blaming Mr. Hefner."

I have not watched a single second of this and I already know this is going to be about a woman who chose a certain, some might say unsavory, lifestyle and stayed in it for almost a decade happily profiting only to come back and say she was somehow coerced and claim victimhood after becoming socially established thanks to said lifestyle, even though there are countless videos of her saying otherwise. Tell me if I'm getting warm here

They all did a job for at least 1000 dollars a week. I'm sick and tired of people who did things that they now regret trying to put all the blame on someone else. No one is perfect. Live with it.

she defended hef until she got kicked out the will. She said it was wrong that she wouldn't be getting anything. She wrote a book bragging about using him for money. Hef got those twins and she was demoted from top girlfriend and refused to leave the house, begging him for a child and marriage. When he married crystal she went crazy, this all for someone who was so evil

Both sides are guilty here...They were adults and werent unable to find another place at any given moment, they wanted the glamour and faced the consequences...Doesnt excuse what Heff did, he is another despicable old man. Also they are rich today partly because of him...so kudos.

I think people need to learn from 0 to take responsibility of their actions. She and other girls knew where she went Playboy and bunnies existed from 60-s, she knew why - for fame and money, she knew Hef and what he does.

Dont forget, those were grown women able to make their own decisions. They didnt have to be there if they didnt want to. This is the benefit of being an adult and making our own choices. It annoys me with this movement being abused. I totally agree with legit victims but when adults regret their own decisions, that is different.
