Most importantly, I must introduce my new axe — I am playing my new “5+1” banjo made by @tomnechville in this video. This is a 6-string banjo with an extra low string, while keeping the high drone string. It is a fantastic banjo and design concept, and it is already having a huge impact on my playing and compositions. @nechvillebanjoswest makes fantastic banjos!!
