Did you permanently lose important followers?

Wait… THAT’S HOW I LOST WEBBER!

I was collecting all the characters in my cult and keeping their forms the same so I was getting all the witnesses, disciples, bishops, and the story characters like Stinky and Jalala.

If any of them die, I revive them.

I knew about Webber’s thing so I got them. They had the demon that gave hearts and Ratoo asked for one so I said yeah.

I got confused when later I didn’t find Webber in my resurrection list.

The thing about not being able to revive a gold follower is that it means they are alive as gold

I recruited the Bishops, did their questlines, and then gave them all to Midas. I get that Narinder was bad, but don't expect me to forgive you for killing *MY ENTIRE SPECIES!*

I talked to the red fox and decided to sacrifice someone, and found a spy (i name my cultists after the ways i found them - the dissenter would be a natural dissenter) and his name was like juliag i dont remember

Only Shamura's door needs a lvl 10, Kalamar needs a lvl 7 and Heket a lvl 4 i think? The easiest thing to do is make 3 abomanation children and nuture them so they become adults at level 6 already, then its easy to level them up and use them on the doors

I would theorize in the case of Midas you can’t revive them because they aren’t actually dead per say.

What exactly this implies for the other 3 way is probably equally horrifying

That’s why I have specific followers that are named “sacrifice” or something hurtful, so I know that they are expendable😅

That's why I always sacrificed the elderly in those types of deals. For the doors it's a little bit more complicated, but basically you'll have to raise 4 followers to have high levels. Ideally you would want them to have golden necklaces, just to prevent them from dying and when the time comes just take it away from them before sacrifice them

Fun fact: there used to be _no warning_ for the level 10 door thing. I didn't know it would sacrifice that follower and that's how I lost leshy

And that everyone is why we breed the followers we do not like or as i call it "livestock "

That heart task is impossible he doesn't comes

one thing i never understood is why followers look scared when they're about to be sacrificed. in real sacrifices, people literally begged to be offered and took it as a honorable act

This is how i lost the one who waits because he was at the top of my list and i wasn't paying attention and just auto hit yes when it asked if i wanted to sacrifice him to the door. Rip my husband

Personally, I prefer to hold on to the unique followers.

To be honest, losing half a heart doesn't really mean much when I go into a dungeon with 12 blue hearts, along with a few spirit and diseased hearts.

This is how i lost my Narrainder (the door bc before the update, there wasn't a warning)

I’m too nice to be sacrificing them so I cry every time I feed them to the door☹️

In an old build before sins of the flesh i used the same follower to open 3 doors

what if you offer half a heart to the fox while wearing the fleece of the beserker (a fleece that allows you to deal x10 damage but your health is tanked to half a heart)
