NFL Film Breakdown: Is Daniel Jones Good? A Look at his Rookie Season in New York

Daniel Jones looked good and worth the 6th overall pick, and then he'd look like a rookie that had some mechanical issues and was confused at what he was seeing. It's all about consistency for Jones with the Giants. His deep ball mechanics were shaky but his passer rating jumps up 30 points when he's throwing play-action with Saquan in the backfield. He started to process things more quickly as the year went on but for every great play there was also a head-scratcher. If the game continues to slow down and his mechanics clean up, big things are in store for New York and their quarterback.

Imagine when he gets more decisive and stops double clutching. I love that he does the hard stuff really well right now, like when she breaks down. That is hard for rookies to be calm in.
