Another atmospheric river slams into California, flooding Central Coast towns

California is once again facing a strong atmospheric river -- which will then turn into a cross-country storm.

This is the earths way of replenishing that state. Absolutely brutal to us humans, but a much needed drink for that coast

If there isn't enough water, it's a drought. If it's too much water, it's a bad thing. I hope they make it out okay.

This would actually be a good thing, if California actually built more reservoirs like what was proposed many years ago

Why are they calling it an atmospheric river, it's really El Nino, which turns into Le Nina, which is our monsoon season, happens every year same time, the flooding being so bad is from the forest fire damage no ground cover, lots of mudslides, also common, for California. Should've taken some of that disaster relief money and put it in management of there forests instead of Thier personal accounts. Just saying.

why dont they make an arrid area like parts of death valley into a rain capture basin? We have nestle robbing us dry during all these droughts, lets audit how much nestle stole and use the punative fees to build a reserve watersheld, then use to green some of our farm land that suffered at the hands of dirty LA county water grabs along 5 and in inyo county. we could have a beautiful man made lake and make it for majority farm use until the cities can reengineer their sewers into capture for unsustainable water regions that sprawl with out reabsorb plans like suburban socal.
