🇱🇦| THE REAL LAOS Most People DO NOT Get To See

Показать описание
This video shows you the proper Laos and its people. Laos is going through tough times as the country is going through a recession. Nevertheless, the people stay humble and amazingly lovely, and I’ve managed to capture some of it.

This is filmed in a village a few miles from Buddha Park (Wat Xieng Khouane Luang)

Mr. Tungchai is happy to guide you around the city, but he is also able to arrange something special like we’ve shown in the video. Can you please leave him a big tip and also leave something for the people who are hosting you while you are in Laos? 😊 They won’t ask for it, so I do.

Thanks for watching! My apologies for the subtitles. I have some technical issues which I'm not able to solve to get it all right. There will be
sometimes some missing pieces here and there 🙏 Please let me know what you thought of this video. Was it too long?

The people of Laos are some of the most welcoming that you will ever meet. I loved getting to explore their beautiful country.

Most underrated country in southeast Asian countries. I love the low key vide and real authentic cultures and folks there are nice and honest. Been there once and looking forward to visit again in the future

I'm retired, living in Chiang Mai, with little else to do in the evenings, so you got me, for one, watching all of your videos from beginning to end. Long or short, I enjoy them all.

Nice video, Chai! And a long one too! Your videos have a nice BBC documentary feel to them, which few YTers can say. Keep up the great work.

My father lives in Phon Phisai 20KM from Mekong away, in a village like this, Thai side. You might know that Isaan people are very similar to Lao, they speak the same language, other dialect.

It remembers me the times I go to this region. We also visit quite often Lao!

Very nice, I understood some words of the ladies at the showering Karabao. Very nice video

One of your most authentic videos! Laos is perfect for exploring real local life. As a foreigner living in laos and speaking the language, its super fun in rural places. Most welcoming people. Love it - welcome to Laos 🇱🇦🙏

Well captured scenes of beautiful country and its people. It is very tough for Laos and Burma. At least there is peace in Laos. Huge tracts of land to be properly cultivated there with modern equipment.

I love this video, Chai!! This is how we visit these areas, getting to know the locals - just look out for the Lao Lao whisky Blow your head off Bro. The longer format is good. Loving your work 👍👍

Loved this video. So familiar with these types of adventures having spent plenty of time staying around the wife's family farm in Thailand back in the day. Most viewers would not have had such an experience and it really is intriguing. Great idea Chai and love to see similar videos in the other SE Asian countries. Cheers mate 🤩

My wife comes from the Isan region in Thailand where the people describe themselves as Lao. I would venture that the folks over the river in Laos are very similar if not the same. It certainaly looks that way as small village life in Isan is very similar to this. It's a wonderful cultural experience as a farang to be able to be part of this environment as the approach to life is very different to what westerners are accustomed to. I appreciate your efforts. It can be difficult capturing these experiences without it looking like visiting a cultural park or a zoo of some sort. Respect for the culture is paramount.
