I was there in May and it wasn’t as crowded. The tour guide told us the best time to travel in China is September. The weather not as hot and since the school year just started, people would not travel ✌🏻❤

For anyone wondering: she was in 张家界zhangjiajie national park ❤️ it’s beautiful and you also might know it from the cool mountain ranges in the avatar movies.

Extra fun fact: the mountains are shaped like that because of a geographical phenomenon called karst. Karst of this particular dome shape are special to East Asia.

If anyone's wondering these are the avatar mountains in Zhangjiajie (张家界国家森林公园) and they are worth visiting. Seriously the views are STUN-NING. Also has the world's tallest outdoor elevator that you can see very briefly in the last clip.

Omg! I’ve been there! Years ago when the tourism economy was still growing in China. It was much more calm! I didn’t remember seeing that many people or the street vendors. It was more a sanctuary when toured ZhangJiaJie. We saw butterflies and giant insects! We also arrived super early and the clouds were still low; it looked like floating islands in the sky!
