The bear arm should be much better because it's from a rare plan and it has more rebar than the power fist

Even before the energy damage fix, I was doing slightly better damage with my electrified gauntlet. All the "power fist bros" thought I was crazy, but it just seemed to take down enemies faster.

Interesting result. Since energy damage calculation was changed, I'm curious how a power fist with heating coil would perform vs puncturing.

While death claw gauntlet and electrified gauntlet had 40% more power attack damage, why did bear arm have 40% faster swing speed instead? That surely affects its power attack damage

Turtle swing feet is always the better choice if you want to power attack run, or even run and jump either way, I love that the non-power armor version of running and jumping in one hitting the thing hits climactic and and fun, but if you get the power attack just by running and punching so if you wanna power attack something the only have to sprint for a second once you get the timing down if he comes easy to do and then you get the best of both worlds because if it doesn’t Gildo the power attack then you get a fast swing after that

Wonder if power fist with heating coil wouldnt be better since stacking more of same multiplier (AA) makes diminishing returns

I've been holding on to my Vampire's Gauntlet for almost two years. Good to know it's useful now.

I've been using the gauntlet since it first came out just because I was able to roll a few perfect ones. It's definitely stronger now, strong enough that I use a V SS one 90% of the time unless I'm messing around with something else just for fun.

Gauntled has been my choice since it came out. I like it vanilla since it has bleed damage that stacks with the unarmed mutation and thorn armor.
Gauntlet is also the one that takes up the least amount of screen, the others almost don't let you see on the right.Big point to me

But what about Mole Miner Gauntlet? It's roughly the same damage as Deathclaw Gauntlet but with added bleed debuff.

The Gauntlet is the most powerful melee weapon in the game. Get one with the right effects, and a full set of thorn and you'll be laughing.

Ive been using the same power fist for like 4 years or more. now I've got a good reason to spend some legendary cores or whatever it is I need to made a gauntlet and mod it

Did my own testing with a plain junkie's gauntlet (max +50% damage) vs Face Breaker (Furious/40% power attack) vs Unstoppable Monster (B/40% power attack). The gauntlet won, but Unstoppable Monster was a very close second.
I think going with Bloodied/Junkies with these melee weapons is the better option vs AA, since outside of boss monsters (from endgame events or mutation invasion events) their potential damage overcomes most damage mitigation.

On a sidenote I think before all the damage calculations were changed Wayback win things like the bear arm and the more minor gauntlet were much closer together with the power fist and the death claw Rick because we’re all doing so much damage with a proper on our mail a bill that it was hard to tell the difference it’s more pronounced now because the damage is not so high

I have an AA (fss) (Settlers) Gauntlet on me for any melee things I need to do and would say that (Settlers) Gauntlet and Deathclaw Gauntlet are tied for my go to DPS unarmed weapons. If I get a Bear Arm, then depending on the roll it's a collectors or scrip.

I use moleminer gauntlets for the bleed damage. Plus vampires means I stay alive.

How about actual unarmed. What can bare hands do. What effect do the armor mods have? What difference is there between levels and types of power armor when it comes to unarmed?
