Hands On Health - Adult and Infant Choking

In this video, both adult and child choking rescue techniques are demonstrated. First Aid topics include the universal signal for choking, dislodging obstructions using coughing, the Heimlich Maneuver, treating unresponsive patients, clearing the airway, initiating CPR, and single provider infant choking rescue techniques. Remember, whenever possible use Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE to protect both the victim and the rescuer.
