This isn't a criticism, more of an observation. I personally think the kitchen/dining area needs some greenery, ie faux plants, especially in the corner by the window where the dining table is.  It looks very bare and all a bit colourless.  I get the whole neutral/60 shades of grey thing, but I think some greenery, albeit artificial or real, really brings a room some cosiness and finishes it off.  There's some gorge pots around for tall plants and beautiful plant stands, the options are endless.

I love the table in the kitchen, but I feel like it makes the room look smaller then before. Definitely needs to be spruced up. Maybe curtains rather then the pull down blinds and a faux tree/plant in the corner? Or a little stand with decor

Lydia please don’t find it necessary to explain yourself. You owe no one an explanation. People with a negative mentality will always be negative. You SHOULD enjoy the trips and events you are blessed to be a part of. I doubt there is one person in these comments that would not jump at the opportunities of fun and travel and any other perks, that your job offers you. Enjoy every moment you can, and make the most of each blessing. We only have one life. Love the changes to your home, your energy and the journey you take us on.

Love the new dining room set up and love the cozy room!! I definitely think you need some tall plants( maybe banana leaf) or something to spruce up that area ( dining room area) and bring it all together.

I haven't read through the comments, so apologies if someone already mentioned this. I learned from experience that cats don't like to sleep near their food or litter box, nor do they like to use their litter box near their food... They are very clean and finicky about their surroundings. The constant smell of their food while they snooze throws off their hunger response. I've read this in different areas over the years. Adorable bed, though!! I want to get one for our kitty!

Couple of suggestions so far. 1. Large rug under dining table; 2. Move couch and chairs off the walls and closer to the center. That will give the room a cozier look. May have more suggestions, I'm only 15 minutes in.

LOVE where the new dinning room is! I did love you sitting area there because hello the view, BUT I have to say switching the two rooms really does make more sense and you really do have an amazing talent for decorating for sure! Looks beautiful!

Don’t take your Invisalign out to talk Lyds 😱
The lisp will get better the longer you keep them in
If you keep taking them out you’ll never get used to it, trust me I’ve had my Invisalign for over a year and a half
