What’s a shopping tip you do to save money on makeup?! I wanna know!! 🥰 should I do more of these? :)

Thank you Jena for wonderful tips on saving money!😘
But just fyi, just in case you are not aware of this, because I heard you saying in multiple videos(yes, I watch almost every video you post😆) that you got the Pat Mc Grath palette for 50% off, 30% off and an additional 20% off does not make it half off. For instance, 50% off of 100$ makes 50$ but 30% + 20% makes 56$ which is 44% off. I just wanted to mention it so that there is no misunderstanding when your subscribers goes and order according to your tips.🤗

My tip is... Samples, trial sizes, and minis!!
For example, I used my points to get mini Tatcha water creams. I'm on my second mini tub and didn't have to spend a cent on it

PERFECT VIDEO LOVE THIS ! I save by not buying all new releases. I wait until sales. Reviews also and. Here’s a good one. Don’t buy a palette if your not going to o wear over half 3/4 of the shades or more

Love this Jena! I’ve truly learned to just wait for reviews and only then if I still want the products I will buy it!

I don't see these tips as "money saving", they're more akin to sensible shopping.

Living in the UK and not being able to return products is a pain but it does mean that I do my very best to shade match as accurately as possible. Also, there's less wastage. 💗

I live in Europe and do not have access to Sephora stores in my country or something similar where decent brands are brought it. Either one finds designer makeup like Chanel or Lancome or cheap drugstore makeup like MakeupRevolution, Rimmel, Maybelline, etc... And no middle budget makeup-brands so do not even have opportunity to swatch items before buying. The best way I have found to buy sensibly and save money is using temptalia's website as I feel she has the best swatches and you can also check if you already have a dupe in your vanity. For foundations/concealers, where I can I try and see if there is a mini and buy that to not risk getting a colour that doesn't match. I also found it worthwhile to buy only when a goody bag is being offered with purchase, where I get tones of samples and would have the opportunity to test items without having to buy them. Also as there isn't a sephora that ships to my country I use couriers where I ship items to their warehouse and they ship it to me at a cost, which is usually just Eur11 at most, but price is determined by weight/size of box.

I missed out on Charlotte Tilbury's Fire Rose palette thinking it was just a sales tactic. Hope she brings it back!

Thank you soooo much for telling us about Reship! I used it to get backups of the CT Fire Rose quad since it was still available in the UK 🥰

Sephora’s point system is absolutely terrible. Even with a sephora card which supposedly gives you cash back. I have spent over $1000 and only accumulated $45. THAT’S IT! And totally agree, if they don’t announce the winner we can assume they never selected anyone.

Love this video! I also use Sephora and Ulta's Love List before buying anything.

Thank you for being a content creator that I can trust-I have recently curated my YouTube and IG content to only creators that I trust and don’t feel are “loyal to the brand”, but rather “loyal to their followers.” There is a difference-I won’t name names-but you were on the list of creators I kept😉Thank you for that!

I buy makeup from resell platforms like Mercari or Poshmark. People sell new and gently swatched for like 50% off 💝 just got a brand new viseart neutral palette for $20, retail $80 🙈 now some of those sellers are Sephora employees, youtubers, makeup hoarders, box subscribers unloading products they don’t want, etc I have never bought anything at retail price unless they are new releases that I can’t wait 😜

For Vancouver, there's some parcels in the states that will offer to ship your inventory to another parcel in Langley for a flat rate. It's a bit of drive but at least you don't have to cross the border.

Subscribed just the other day! I like these tips. This year I’m trying to focus on quality things I’ll love and use, not mass quantities of beauty products I hardly touch bc I’m looking for the next best thing.
