12 = 3 * 4 = select the biggest number= 4(ans.)

Good thought. But answer seems wrong. Sqrt of 12 is 3.46; sqrt of 3.46 is 1.86. just adding this together we get 5.32. if we add further decimals it will only go up to infinity. Because sqrt will not come less than 1 in each case.

So logically your answer seems ok. But there is problem with answer

would this be the same problem: Sqrt12 + Sqrt12 + Sqrt12 - because it LOOKS to me like the square root of the sqrt of the sqrt of 12 - does that even make sense! :(
