I remember belt bruises and wondered how they got there when I was little. My parents were catholic. The bible says, spare the rod, spoil the kid. When I grew some, my grandmother gave me chocolate exlax. Tasted so good. I didn't know it was exlax. I didn't have time to get to the bathroom. Mom told me, she used to beat me with a belt for using the bathroom in my pants.

You forgot to mention the face!! My mum used to always aim for my face when she thumped me in the face. I went to school with bruises on my face.
