Super-sized Tesla powered iPhone battery 'downgrade' to pouch cell

It's time to replace my Tesla 2170 battery on my iPhone with a pouch cell salvaged from a USB power bank. It will be a thinner and lighter iPhone at the end. I also need to modify my existing EVA foam phone case to fit the new battery.

i was going to say that the big foam all around the phone ought to protect it from mechanical damage but then i noticed that the screen is fractured already.

I’ve read on the internet these batteries can inflate like a balloon without a warning, Make sure you have a decent quality battery. I would prefer staying with 18650 type as they are much much safer and to work with.

can you charge the battery with xt60 connector when the phone is ON or it must be turn OFF?

I installed 10000 mah new lipo battery in mobile phone.. as mobile original battery fully charged voltage is about 4.4v as of lipo 10000mah, its 4.2v.. it shows 88% while its full charged.. still battery percentage is dropping as normal..how long the phone will lasts?. Or is the battery percentage is not correct?.
