Fun fact : Hyundai Accent and Mitsubishi lancer were built on the same platform and shared some parts with each other like steering rack, suspension, chassis etc but Hyundai always gave it soft suspension and a light steering wheel which made the car very uninspiring to drive through corners or unstable to drive at high speeds as it used to bounce around on bumps or undulations. With the right mods this car became a beast literally. Mitsubishi used to own a stake in Hyundai in 90s, thats why the platform and part sharing happened with some differences between them.
