The launch of the world's most powerful rocket on its test flight to the moon's orbit has been postponed, after scientists discovered a hydrogen leak on board.

The launch had been delayed by organisers during the fuelling process, just 40 minutes before the scheduled take-off, after a liquid hydrogen leak was discovered.

Oh how did I know this thing would never be taking off any time soon?

It takes 42 days all of the sudden. To NOT land. Apollo did it in 8 days and played golf on the Moon for two days. What a disgrace.

Sorry that I'm not surprised. 45 year old space shuttle engine tech that's been kitbashed into this form by a bunch of aerospace firms backed by political special interests that can't compete with SpaceX. At least the designs for this in the 1980s version the center engine pod had a heat shield and parachutes so that it was reusable. Now they're just burning up old recycled spaceshuttle main engines and SRB sections with capsule designs that run back to Apollo from the 1960's. Where's the innovation?

Meanwhile, SpaceX keeps getting stalled for their Starship first orbital test - because if that new and fully reusable HLLV got to orbit before this 40 year white elephant it would just be so embarrassing.

I have to remind myself to ignore YouTube comments sometimes... education has failed many people.

We're whalers on the moon, we carry a harpoon. But there aint no whales so we tell tall tales and sing this whaling tune.

Great job NASA by keeping the spaceship safe on the launch pad.

Wow...just, wow! There is Elon, effortlessly launching Dragons three times a week, at a fraction of the cost and this 50 year old, hydrogen filled, galactic sized money pit, struggles to get a single candle off the ground.... To say this is embarrassing for NASA, is an understatement.
... Boeing is the same.... How are they failing to get with the program so epicly?
