On performance drives : Polo GT delivers 9-10 KMPL and Polo HLP delivers 10-11 KMPL .

We can add +1 KM/L i e 10-11 KMPL and 11-12 KMPL respectively to GT and HLP on non-performance drives.

Also, any other car in its segment delivers maximum +1 KMPL in overall hybrid modes of performance and non-performance drives when compared with this legendery car i.e Polo

All above data is considered on overall basis in hybrid modes of local & highway run : Tank to Tank.

Anyone citing any other data is simply running it on ideal and/or theoretical mode which never happens in the long run of overall practical traffic dynamics.

The reason you can fill up more fuel than the rated capacity of the fuel tank is because the actual tank is a bit larger than the official capacity. It is done to account for expansion of the fuel and the evaporative emissions control equipment

Polo fuel tank capacity is 45ltr( Petrol/diesel) which is 95% of capacity. Additional 5ltr it can accommodate. So total 50/51ltr is tank capacity.
