Waymo autonomous car

Waymo One is Google's self-driving robotaxi service, currently deployed for public use in Chandler, Arizona. It works like Uber, and passengers select a destination from the app, and the vehicle takes you there. It's weird for about 30 seconds and then you get used to it.

The driving experience is something you need to try to feel — a bit jerky, but ultimately it felt safe. The unprotected left towards the end was a touch alarming, but the car was pulling out so its lidar sensors could see up the road.
