Waymo 360° Experience: A Fully Autonomous Driving Journey

Waymo began as the Google self-driving car project in 2009. Today, we have the world’s only fleet equipped with fully autonomous-driving cars on public roads. Tesla owners warm up to Autopilot pretty quickly, but it seems like the general public doesn't seem to want to trust self driving cars. Waymo, thank you for pushing the industry. I firmly believe without your legwork, self-driving technology would not be evolving at such a rapid pace.

I desperately want this for my simple freeway 40 minute commute to work in Utah. That's an hour and twenty minutes of unproductivity every single day. I'm not getting any younger. I'm very excited to have an autonomous car someday soon.

I live in Florida surrounded by people as old as I am and older. We need all the driving assistance we can get. ASAP. It does not have to be perfect. Just better than we drive. That should not be too hard?
For instance: My neighbor is 98 and had to give up his drivers liscence because of a small accident. What is he going to do in an area laid out for car transport only? Taxi? Relatives? Kindness of strangers?
BTW, his mind is sharp. Eyes and ears as good as mine. Just old. Wants to be independent. Like me.
WAYMO should get a medal IMHO.

Are any of the road-test or simulation also done for European driving situations? I can tell from experience that is quite a difference not only between US and EU but even between
European countries
