Oh NOW I understand the green eyeshadow! Roman Torchwick’s eyes are green. That makes a lot more sense, it was a weird color addition without understanding the reference.

Neo definitely has one of the most creative fighting styles in the entire show. Young Maria Calavera is up there as well with her dual gravity dust scythes. You can see from barely a minute of fighting that Neo knows every angle and trick to fighting with her parasol. The movements are quick and precise. She's such an entertaining character to see fight.

Worth noting in this fight is how Neo is full on the offensive, something she hasn't done before. When she fought Yang, she was mostly just dodging and countering her attacks, while against Ruby, she was mostly on the defensive before Roman stepped in and tag teamed her. Just goes to show how much she cared for Roman.

Lets face it, only reason Cinder can win is because of her maiden abilities.

I love that Neo took a swipe at Cinder's throat with her hidden blade at 0:34. Its 'blink and you miss it' stuff, but its the kind of little detail Monty would add into fights.

Idk why but it just bothers me every time she says Ruby killed Torchwick. Like a Grimm killed him and by that term Salem killed him technically cause he would have lived else for that the Grimm that ate him.

I love how Neo’s fighting style is essentially “break them down and make them tired with hits from the umbrella, break their guard with kicks so that I can then hit them even more with the umbrella and eventually skewer them with the blade inside the umbrella”

Fun fact: Neo has never taken a hit in RWBY (no I am not counting Cinder using her maiden powers, she didn’t hit Neo she just pushed her back), Neo in the bar fighting Cinder was just an illusion, the real Neo was outside, meaning the real Neo never took a single hit yet in RWBY.

Edit: okay, I’ve seen all the comments saying she just used an illusion to change her appearance to not look all dirty as stuff
To which I say “what would even be the point?” and “yeah, you’re probably right.”
