Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Classes - IllinoisSafety.com
Показать описание
Looking for a PALS certification course in or around Chicago ? The American Heart Association’s Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course has been updated to reflect the science in the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
Learn More:
This classroom, instructor-led course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. Whether you need PALS recertification or a first-time certification, the goal of the PALS class is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
If you need BLS Provider (also known as BLS for Healthcare Provider) certification in addition to PALS, you can also obtain it the same day. When signing up for the PALS course, you will be asked if you’d like to add BLS Provider on the same day for $70. If you choose to sign up, you will:
Receive a confirmation email after signing up. Inside the email follow the American Heart Association Link to complete the online BLS Class. (Approximately 1-2 hours long) Print the completion certificate and bring it with you on the day of the course. Arrive 30 minutes before your PALS class to perform your hands-on skills session.
Receive your American Heart Association BLS Provider certification card the same day as your hands-on skills session. All students must sign up online through our booking program. There will be no refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of class, and online classes are non-refundable (this includes failed attempts)
Choose The Right PALS Certification Class:
There are other PALS certifications that are offered online, but most employers and schools will only accept PALS classes that are approved by the American Heart Association (AHA). Pay close attention to the language that online certification programs use.
“Approved by AHA-certified doctors” or “recommended by AHA-approved physicians” is confusing language that tries to get around the point that the AHA has not actually certified the class. To be safe, you should only take classes and submit exams that have been certified by the AHA, such as our American Heart Association PALS course.
