Sasuke: i have no dream
Itachi: here, sasuke...take mine

That last part is so beautiful.
Naruto and Sakura grab the crystal, representing they have something to hold on to, they have hope.
Sasuke pushes the crystal away, representing there's no light left inside him, he's chosen a path of darkness.
Itachi gives his crystal away, representing his self-sacrifices, and how much he gave up in his life for the sake of others.

Naruto takes hope, Sakura keeps hope, Sasuke throws hope, Itachi gives hope

Naruto does his best throughout his life to get even close to the crystal whilst still messing up, but in the end he knows his efforts have paid of and takes hold of it with confidence

Sakura embraces the crystal wholeheartedly and hopes that it never goes away, representing her love for her teammates and most important Sasuke which she already lost once and never wants to lose again

Sasuke has spent his entire life fighting the crystal but in the end even though he cant be honest about wanting the crystal he still grabs hold of it nonetheless

Itachi watches the crystal that's been given him carefully and catches it at the right time, then chooses to give it away (to his village most likely) through his self sacrifice (I wouldn't necessarily say hes giving it to Sasuke since hes also caused him most of his trauma and ended up indirectly turning into a villain, even if he did do his best to save him and turn him into a hero, so i'd say the crystal is given to the village instead)


My absolute favorite opening, shame its wasted on fillers ;(

The different variants of this opening is just, so beautiful. And the Itachi one literally makes me emotional a bit. Masashi Kishimoto, you are a genius.

i love this opening so much, the reason is everyone interprets it different, heres my interpretation: The crystal represents everyone dreams, naruto's dream is to be aknowledge by everyone which he only gets at the end when sasuke finally notices him, when sasuke was a kid he seeked to be happy and acomplish his dreams but after itachi slaughtered their clan sasuke always chases after those dreams just to destroy them so he can become more powerful, sakura doesn't have any particular dreams which is represented here by the fact that she is always in the middle of sasuke and naruto, madara almost got his dream of bringing peace in the world( in his own way) but when he was so clsoe to it kaguya kills him, and my favourite part is itachi, itachi was a prodigy from the begging he had everything he could ever want he could've been happy but he decided to give up all that so he can make everyone else happy giving the crystal to everyone else at the price of his own happiness

The only real difference that isn't from lagging that I noticed is the last few seconds. I'm curious which version plays for which episode, you have to wonder how many people got mendala effect from Naruto intros only to realize that they actually change depending on the episode.

Naruto Intro 4 has 2 Versions, Naruto Intro 5 has 5, Intros 6&7 both have 2 versions & that's just the series before Shippuden. I'm not sure if we're supposed to count the Movie Versions, although for Shippuden, 3-5 all have at least 2 versions, 9 has 2 Versions, 18 has 4 Versions, & 19 has 3 Versions all not counting the movies.

things that I think they didn't realize is that at the beginning of the opening the characters who dies, for example jiraia, the crystal is coming out of their hands, probably symbolizing that hope or something like that will be passed on to other peopleI'm sorry if you didn't understand my writing correctly because I speak Portuguese
