No other modern day sportsman has been labeled the ‘best ever’ more times than the Argentina/Barcelona legend Lionel Messi. His genius is undoubtedly one of a kind and it seems highly unlikely that we will witness someone similar in our lifetime.

Messi is unarguably one of those few players who would shadow any other great player. Is the Rosarino (from Rosario) the best player ever? Lest he remains at least in the same bracket as Maradona, Pele and Cruyff when he decides to hang up his boots.

There’s no doubt that we will tell tales of Messi to the next generations a few decades from now. We'd sooner revel in his greatness, watching on this video than making senseless comparisons. The great Wayne Rooney said it best: “Don’t write about him, don’t try to describe him. Just watch him.”
