fear of being hunted is pretty cool with hardened escort. the escort gives another creature +1 and indestructable when it attacks. so you can swing with both and the fear is usually going to take out whatever guy they have and will always survive

Before I watch, my card you should be playing is Reluctant Role Model, has been amazing in my Amalia brawl deck and any other +1/+1 counter decks, or good in tempo decks too.

Ive been using Enduring Vitality in a Kona deck with a lot of success. Obviously lets you tap the Kona to get the survival effect but also lets you hard cast your Atraxa / Valgvoth etc as a plan B.

At the Regional Championship last week, I was kind of expecting to see Ghost Vacuum show up as a way to fight Izzet Phoenix. It offers distinct advantages over some of the typical graveyard hate cards like Rest in Peace or Leyline of the Void.

For starters, it only costs 1 mana. So it's easier to slip this underneath the soft counters they usually play. And unlike RiP and Leyline, it isn't just graveyard hate. You can be exiling the creatures they mill over, their Phoenixes, Crackling Drakes, Ledger Shredders, etc. then put them into play on your side. Or if your own creatures are getting killed or countered, the same applies.

So i just realized (been kinda jaded on mtg for a bit and barely taking notice of it) the entire Enduring cycle with any Opalescence effect will just reanimate constantly, each time coming back as just an enchantment that then is immediately animated. Maybe some form of Abzan Reanimator/Enchantress list?

"Nowhere to Run" is overpowered. 2 mana enchantment that initially is a -3/-3 hit to an opponent, THEN negates hexproof and ward until it's taken off the board....AND IT HAS FLASH. What the heck were they thinking? Its just more proof that Swamp/Black needs massive nerfs. The fact that something like 85% of standard decks are playing black mana SHOULD BE A CLUE, but I guess that would mean paying attention to statistics....and math is hard. >.>

Ngl curse recording does looks sick when pairing with white founding. Double gain 6-7 hp is crazy thats 70%of 20 dmg it literally pays itself. Just throwing in some helix.

I remember the first time I felt a tooth infection. I was skating about to hit a hill and all of a sudden it was like taking a bolt, maybe even a lava axe, right to the face when your on 4 HP. Hit me so hard it knocked me right off my board and put me into the fetal position in the middle of the road.
