Galactic Hunter takes you on mysterious adventures to other worlds. Whether we are visiting planets, galaxies, nebulae, comets, or star clusters, the goal of Galactic Hunter is to teach you astronomy through one of the most rewarding hobbies: Astrophotography. Join my wife and I in our galactic adventures, and question everything you know about what lays outside of our little world.

Absolutely brilliant explanation of the nebula, the 3d graphics are really helpful to me

I'll tell you what is refreshing about this - its really nice that a girl is interested in astronomy, in what is a very male-dominated hobby, well done and keep up the good work

14:43 this just shows how far away the ring nebula is, if it was as close as the great orion nebula it would appear almost the same size as running man nebula

your astronomy/astrophotography is great for this noob to watch. But the bit with spider, music and all, was hilarious!
But more to the point, your blog is awesome, really rounds out the videos; thanks for all the good tips on it, too.

Great video again, love seeing the process to capture stars and comparison of size of Ring Nebula vs Orion. These little things make a enjoyable watching experience. I vote for M13 the Globular Cluster.

Thanks for the camel spider info.
There be spiders big as battleships on some planet somewhere.

Well done !! You are lucky to have each other to go out there in the dark night. This can otherwise be a very lonely activity.
Can't wait for the next episode!
Vote for #1 Rho Ophiuchi. We don't get to see it much from up in cold Canada :-)

The Ring Nebulae was one of the very first DSO I found by luck while sweeping the sky with a new 10" dob many years ago before I had any knowledge about DS targets. It was a great moment to see something looking like a faint blue bubble hanging in black space. Thanks for your videos. They make great sleepy time fun.

Lyra is one of my favorite constellations, and Vega one of the first stars I could identify. M57 is indeed a tiny jewelry about to be discovered. Vega remembers me again and again the "Contact" story. Nice video Antoine and Dolly, thank you!

I find this perspective beautiful and brings me enjoyable memories. It reminds of my first views of M57 in my 6 inch newtonian in the late 70's. I had the privilege of dark skies in Eastern Oregon at the time. No bad spiders. Maybe an occasional black widow?

You should get a barlow lens so you don't have to crop so much and you can keep some detail when the observed object is so small in the sky
