29 channels, 17 speakers 19 macintosh amps.. this is like having 12 people fitting in your Bugatti.

So good to finally meet you in person. 😊

Nice. I've heard to McIntosh factory theater, I'm sure this was better though. The bass in Maverick was distorting the Mic, haha. Probably were running it as loud as the Mac factory.

I kind of want to experience a mono 1.31 system now.

Fantastic system. I’m jealous because you got to experience this in person. 😂 I’ve met Charlie Randall a few years ago at a McIntosh dealer event. Very cool guy. He even took the time to take a few pics with me.

That looks awesome. On the business side of things it “seems” as if Lumagen is ceding the high-end market to MadVr. Both items are considered luxury item and Lumagen as been the lone player in this space for awhile.

Now MadVr is here and anytime a high-end system is reviewed on YouTube all you here is MadVr. I’m sure Lumagen has a high installed base due to its time in the sector but now I fear anyone spending X amount of dollars is going to default to MadVr. If they don’t do something soon they are going to lose the tiny niche market they have controlled for over a decade. I brought this up to them and they didn’t seem concerned which seems short-sided to me. They are already a niche inside of a niche.

They gotta update their menu structure and it HAS to become networkable for updates and dealer remote control. Their product is half the price of an Envy Extreme yet you never hear about them anymore.

That room has some jaw dropping equipment, but the non-linear stretch during the Top Gun: Maverick clip is obvious and horribly distracting. MadVR's constant promotion of that feature actively dissuades me from wanting to invest in their product.

The picture quality is far worse than TV.
