can I set up rear effect speakers in the ceiling as well as the atmos in the ceiling? Small room and poor acoustics

Really great video.... do you think it would be a good idea to add an additional left and right surround speaker for each row of seating? this would increase the number of speakers to a 9.1.4

4 ceiling speakers going up today. Currently I'm 7.1. Will be 7.1.4. Excited. Got great SONANCES on a pawn shop deal for 30 a box. They are the industrial ones so a bit overkill but whatever

Denon's auto setup has the atmos speakers either on top of the front speakers or on top of the back speakers

I have a 656 and have my rear speakers mounted high on the back wall and can’t get atmos to work despite the manual saying this was a suitable position.

Do I have to buy additional pair of speakers to hang on the ceiling for the 7.1-Channel Network A / Package Onkyo HT-S9700THX V Receiver / Speaker Dolby Atmos, because only comes with 7 speakers. and which are the speakers that I have to buy, because they only offer me some  speakers that are standing on top of the front speakers.

What is a "larger room?" I have a 13' wide by 17' deep by 8' high ceiling room. 2 front + 2 surround + 2 rear + 4 ceiling + 1 center + 1 sub = 10.1.1 ? This over kill for this size room?

I have an onkyo AV reciever R494, I don't know how can i use it to play only audio CDs without video. It seems i have to have a display (TV) connected always. Anyone out there tried to setup the reciever to play only audio ?
