Hiking Rysy, Slovakia

We visited Rysy in the Slovak Tatras. It was a very fun trip, a difficult hike, bohemian rhapsody, a chata, kofola, snow, interesting people and sunshine. All in an 8 plus hour in and out. For full disclosure, we were not 100% prepared for the amount of snow and ice we found. Our original plan was to get to chata pod rysmi, but once there we decided to at least try to get to the top. We had to turn back less than 100 meters from the summit. We were disappointed but also hopeful we will return and finish it.
