Today we are making a project I have been very exited for and that is making a dress from real autumn leaves. I went out and collected each leaf myself after they have fallen from the fall tree's. Crafting this was such good fun and sewing it together was such an enjoyable experience!

The dress is beautiful and applaud your creativity and figuring out how to make it all work in the end! I did want to point out to anyone who may be interested in sewing with leaves there is a process you can do of soaking them in glycerin to preserve them and makes them kind of like a leather

I think my favorite part of this was you trying to avoid everyone while collecting leaves 🤣

But wow, so much time and effort into this dress! It does look great 😁🍁🍁

Oh the joy of being dressed in autumn leaves! Dreamy to be wrapped in a pile of rustling leaves. Gorgeous project. I love it! A perfect Ode to Autumn.

The dress is amazing. You did a fabulous job on it. Tip for the next time you use a hot glue, keep a bowl of water nearby and when you burn your fingers on the glue put your fingers in the bowl of water. This will help with the swelling.

This dress is astounding! I love the change of direction of the leaves from skirt to bodice. I love the one big leaf front and center of the bodice. Your dedication to these projects is amazing.

Very cool- it's great for twirling. I think you just need to work on spotting like dancers so you don't get dizzy haha ;)

That is a hybrid delicata and acorn squash. Delicata is also called the sweet potato squash since it tastes very much like a sweet potato.

13:03 that’s amazing you’re so dedicated to this. It is exciting when you’re trying to make some thing and you get inspired to and you just put yourself into the craft in the project but girl you need to rest more and you should say no to some shifts yeah like I’m leaving work early. Nobody needs work 12 hours- Wow too much. Yeah tell him by the way I have to go home and take care of my leaves. Just kidding sounds all crazy. Don’t tell him that. I can’t wait to see the rest of the video.

That turned out amazingly! Such a wonderfully full and spinny skirt. I also like the subtle sheen the mod podge gave to the leaves. Just a little bit of light catching. Thanks for another fun video on a sweet project. Happy Spooky Season to you too!

Wow! Love your channel and I blame you for my vintage sewing machine obsession. The process reminds me of Seamstressed another youtuber .... who made paper flowers for a Dior dress. Anyhow you are great!
