As a foreigner i leave here for + 10 years. I can testify Prague is excellent: easy for non-Czech speakers, plenty of business and work opportunities and professional growth, nearly 0% unemployment, super public transports, well organised, amazing value for money, in heart of Europe, etc. Finally i am finance guy and the content in here is pretty representative & representative from my pt of view: Great job Tereza ;) !

I'm UK citizen but have visited Prague many times. By EU standards costs are modest but I would not say cheap. Visitors are made welcome and, YES, you can survive speaking only English. Public transport is excellent.

This video is absolutely out of reality. It costs at least 20k a month to rent a flat. Median average salary is around 32k per month and that's only if you speak czech. Rents will be getting at least 30% higher now. Food prices are one of highest in Europe. Property prices are quivalent to London although the rent is still quite affordable if you consider that average family flat costs from 700k to 1milion usd. Salaries in Prague are quite low considering the cost of living. You will find it extremely hard to find a job if you don't speak czech. There are only specific proffesions willing to take on foreigners such as English teaching, IT and customer support which is very poorly paid. Yes the beer is still cheaper than bottled water and that's why most people think that Czech republic is a cheap place to live 😢

9:00 how much is the cost? That's easy, more than the median/average local person can afford. Because the median gross salary is not even 33, 000 CZK.
