I came here because a guy was pronouncing it "Nissin" and I always pronounced it like in said video. 🤷

So the Americans got it sort of right. In Ireland we say Neh-san

My dad insisted it was Nis-san...almost nis-sand. We have tried to educate him, but oh no- he knows everything. This is great.

Love the videos, but this one needed more narrowing down. It's the Americans that say "nee-san", whereas in the UK and Ireland it is very much "niss-ann".

Here in NZ we pronounce it as Niss-an. So take the word “miss” and replace the M with and N.

They both sound mostly the same to me. Thank you for tbe video. I will listen to others to see if the other brands of vehicles sound different. I am from the South in the USA and with our regional dialect, we tend to say LOTS of words differently. 😁 I wonder if there are regional dislects in your country as well? I would think so. I seem to recall this topic was brought up in a couple of videos I watched a while back. Comments...
